Division 1 Knockout Cup – Consolation shield

“Newport Division 1 bowlers beat SINCLAIR ‘A’ in the final of the Wrekin Cup Consolation runners-up competition for the Shield The team was presented with the winners’ Shield at Wrockwardine Wood on Thursday, 23rd August, where they beat their opponents by 8 chalks. The final score was NEWPORT 115 – SINCLAIR ‘A’ 109”

Seniors Knock Out Competition

On Thursday, 23rd August the Finals of the Seniors Knock Out Competitions were held at Wrockwardine Wood. Both Newport Teams were Runners-Up. NEWPORT ‘C’ SENIORS lost to HORSEHAY (88 to 124) NEWPORT ‘A’ SENIORS lost to SINCLAIR A (96 to 104)
